Georgia
Overnight train from Baku to Tbilisi and then day train to the Black Sea port of Batumi with aim to cross into Turkey from there

Transportation Options and Experience
Only really one option and that was the train from Tbilisi to Batumi on Black Sea Coast. A 5 hour train ride in one of the newest trains I have been on this whole trip

Walk-abouts in traveled through Cities

VIRTUAL TOUR - Tbilisi

To be honest I am not sure of Tbilisi. I think I might make a separate post of this when get my thoughts together. But spent 3 nights here as wanted to really have a look around. Here is Virtual Tour and some nice pictures of the city (Right click for full-screen. Click photo and drag mouse to navigate the 360)

VIRTUAL TOUR - Batumi (on the Black Sea coast)

Was not intending to stay more than 1 night, but I had a good feeling walking into the city (maybe the sea air) and a good hostel private room with bathroom for 11USD a night ... had to have a good look around! 🙂  (Right click for full-screen. Click photo and drag mouse to navigate the 360)

Less than $50USD/day
Again well under budget for my stay in Georgia. However, be careful with the exchange rates and where you get this done. More on this in my random post. The train from Tbilisi to Batumi cost me 18Lari for a 2nd class ticket. In Tbilisi I stayed in a private room with shared bathroom at Omari Guest House at 30 Lari (12USD) a night, and in Batumi I stayed at the Calypso Hostel at 27Lari a night (11USD) in private room with private bathroom. All reviews of my accommodation on Google Maps and relevant booking site engines.

My favourite memory song for Georgia ...
