Personal favourite Photospheres/Tours
As I travel back home I do city walk-abouts. While I walk I take photos with my cameras including my photo sphere camera - Ricoh Theta S. These I post as Non-edited original versions on Google Maps and are public domain. I have found that pictures of hotels and places were more interesting in research. So leaving something behind for fellow travelers. It has also given me a purpose and learned much along the way. I am also now a Level 5 Local Guide on Google Maps

This is the one I posted on Facebook.  I like it because it has a lot.  It shows off the 360 photosphere well.  There is something to see in 4 main areas.  The boat lower down,  the river horizontal view.  Me with the Burmese children looking at my Smartphone just before clicking the picture, and behind the Buddhist Temple.  Also a good memory with the children.  Just open, straight and no hangups... breath of fresh air!

Luang Prabang - Kaung Si Waterfalls, Laos - 27 June 2016

Met group of independent travelers on slow boat to Luang Prabang.  Invited to join them to a trip to Kaung Si Falls.  It is about 40km from Luang Prabang.  You have to pay and we passed a Butterfly Sanctuary and a volunteer at the waterfalls informing all travelers of the sanctuary.  The waterfalls are basically in 3 tiers from where you arrive.  This photospere is at the bottom near a bridge.  The 2nd tier is really out-of-bounds but everyone goes there.  There you can do underneath the falls and there is a small cave.  I made a video edit of this.  Truly this was the highlight of the trip to Luang Prabang.  Not only this experience but also the bunch of people I met and whom invited me along!  Thank you guys!!

Don Khon 4000 Islands Khongyai Beach, Laos - 03 July 2016

Went on a walk-about the Don Khon Island.  On the way a dog bumped/accosted me by bumping into me two times from behind. Having dogs for a long time in my life I knew he was not being aggressive.  I bent down and he started to excitedly lick my hands and arms.  Settled him down and continued walking.  He followed me and actually went in front of me.  I made a "wrong turn", the dog was ahead of me, but he also came along.  After abut 10 mins I realized he was along for the walk!.  and I turned it all over to him.  He took me to Khongyai falls.  The photosphere here is the one one posted to facebook with us on the rocks.  I also made video snapshots with my mobile phone to see what would happen.  I edited it and that evening shared it with the owner.  I can safely say .. this dog - "Sila" made my trip to the 4000 islands!!!

This is Ta Keo temple near Ankor Wat.  The film Tomb Raider was filmed in this area but not actually at this location.  But here Phil, Lisa and I do a "Tomb Raider" pose gazing upward with the intent that the viewer will follow our gaze and look up.  Quite happy with this picture and good memories.

A big hike and good that I brought layers with me. T-shIrt weather at the bottom and Cambodian Poncho and all layers here at the final destination. Could not capture all of this with one angle camera ... deserves a 360 degree. Plus 2 EMBEDDED VIDEOS IN THIS PANO.  Great hike with yak paths to follow.  .

We were stuck in Garze after minibus driver refused to take us further. So we took a day trip to Yaqing. Largest community of Buddhist nuns (40,000) and monks (10,000 - mostly coming from Seda) learning the "practice" of Buddhism - meditation. You can see the small meditation cells below and on the homes of the women's section

Made a long hike (27km there and back) from the visitors center to the end of the Great Wall of China. Really enjoyed this walk and walked parts where most tourists do not go. Along the side of the wall and up to towers. Made panoramic photos of key parts as well as photos and a video which embedded here in the Virtual Tour 1 EMBEDDED VIDEO in this virtual tour.
